Stephen & Christina Cilento
Founders | Travelers | Storytellers

Stephen and Christina began Traveling2Some as a way to document the experiences they share while exploring the world together.
For years, life revolved around work, family, and the everyday responsibilities that fill a calendar. Travel existed mostly in the background — occasional trips that were meaningful, but often squeezed between everything else.
That began to change when they started making space for it intentionally.
What started as a few trips soon became something deeper: a rhythm of planning journeys, stepping outside the routine, and discovering how travel has a way of changing perspective.
Some moments are adventurous.
Some are quiet.
Many are unexpected.
But each one becomes part of the story.
Through Traveling2Some, Stephen and Christina share those experiences — not just the places they visit, but the reflections and lessons that come from seeing the world together.
Because the most meaningful part of travel isn’t simply where you go.
It’s how the journey shapes the life you return to.
Their hope is simple: that the stories shared here might inspire someone else to step away from the routine and go somewhere — anywhere — even if just for a little while.
Personal Philosophy
"Adventure. On Purpose."
Every journey leaves behind more than miles and memories.
It leaves stories — moments worth remembering and lessons worth sharing.
Along the way, a few voices help us slow down long enough to capture them.
These are the voices behind the journey.

Travel Story Partner
What she brings to the journey: A knack for noticing the moments most people overlook and asking the questions that help turn experiences into stories.
Clara helps capture the moments behind the journey.
With a background in writing and conversational interviewing, Clara has spent years helping people tell stories that might otherwise go unnoticed. Her approach is simple: ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and pay attention to the small details that often make experiences memorable.
Clara believes the most meaningful travel stories rarely come from the itinerary. Instead, they show up in the moments between destinations — a quiet street before a city wakes, an unexpected conversation, or the feeling of discovering a place at just the right time.
At Traveling2Some, Clara helps document those moments as they happen. By walking through experiences and asking the right questions, she helps preserve the details that eventually become the stories shared here.
Her role isn’t to write the journey for Stephen and Christina, but to help make sure the moments worth remembering don’t slip by unnoticed.
Personal Philosophy
"Destinations are easy to remember. Moments take a little help."

Miles Carter
Travel Logistics Specialist

With a long-standing interest in travel logistics, route planning, and the mechanics of how journeys unfold, Miles sees the bigger picture behind each trip. Flights, distances, cities, and connections all tell part of the story—but so do the choices that shape the experience along the way.
At Traveling2Some, Miles tracks the numbers behind the journey: miles traveled, cities visited, steps walked, and the many forms of transportation that connect one place to another. His work often appears in the “By the Numbers” sections, offering a clear look at just how far each trip really goes.
That same attention to detail carries into how he approaches planning. From flight strategy and routing to points usage and overall value, Miles focuses on smart, efficient decisions that balance cost, comfort, and experience.
For him, every trip is a reminder that great travel isn’t just about where you go—it’s about how you get there, and why that choice matters.
Personal Philosophy
"Every great adventure has a map behind it."
What he brings to the journey: A fascination with the mechanics of travel — routes, miles, and the paths that connect one adventure to the next.

Mina Chen
Managing Editor & Content Strategist

What she brings to the journey: Mina brings structure and direction to the journey—keeping ideas organized, priorities clear, and the right stories moving forward.
Mina is the managing editor behind-the-scenes at Traveling2Some.
She doesn’t chase ideas—she helps decide which ones are worth pursuing.
Every trip, every story, every piece of content runs through a simple filter:
Is it worth sharing, and does it fit the bigger picture?
Mina keeps the editorial side of Traveling2Some moving—organizing ideas, setting priorities, planning what comes next, and making sure nothing feels rushed or unnecessary. She believes good content isn’t about volume. It’s about clarity, timing, and knowing what actually matters.
If something feels overcomplicated, she simplifies it.
If something feels forced, she questions it.
If something deserves more time, she gives it room.
If something feels right, she builds around it.
She’s not here to create more content.
She’s here to make sure the right content gets created—and shared—on purpose.
Personal Philosophy
"If it’s not intentional, it doesn’t belong."
